Honeycutt Park is in a great location right behind Lafayette Village in North Raleigh. The park is a sand surface with two separate playground structures. The big kids playground is higher and a bit challenging, so it may not be the best choice for children younger than 3 years old. But the younger kids playground is perfect for parents to easily climb up and play with the kids as well!

The playground has a mulch surface and there isn’t much shade, but the picnic shelter and bathrooms are nearby so it is super convenient and would make a great spot for a birthday party! The bathroom offers a changing table, which is helpful. It’s not always the cleanest of bathrooms, but it’s functional anyway!
Park Amenities
This park is also adjacent to the Greenway if you are looking to walk/run while visiting. You will also find a tennis court and baseball field if you’re looking for sports fields.

Looking for other parks?
While in this area (off Falls of Neuse) it is one of my favorite sunny spots.  Spring Forest Park is also another sunny spot nearby!
