**daffodils are done blooming for 2021 and are no longer available 😔*”

Every year in March, Flowers Field at Dix Park blooms a scattering of daffodils. It’s a great place for a Spring photo op or just a fun place to frolic in the flowers! As you can see in the photo below, it’s not a full field of flowers, but at the right angle you can still get some great photos! We especially love the view of the city skyline in the background! 😍

daffodils at Dix Park

Keep in mind that this is not the same location as the Dix Park sunflower fields in July. The daffodils are located right next to Flower Cottage, so you can plug in that location on your GPS to get there. There is parking along the road and then you’ll have to walk on the grass to get to the flowers. It’s not completely stroller friendly, but you could probably get a stroller down there if needed.

I love photos when they hold hands!

During our first failed attempt to find the daffodils, we initially followed our GPS to The Grove at Dix Park. There you will find some beautiful flowering trees for a pretty photo op there as well. I’m not sure how long those petals will stay on the trees though, so you’ll want to plan your visit as soon as possible to catch this gorgeous view!

we took lots of pictures throwing those pink petals everywhere!

Dix Park is turning out to be a great spot to visit during the Spring months. Check out their Know-Before-You-Go guide for more information about visiting the Daffodil field. The park kindly asks that you don’t pick any flowers during your visit so we can all enjoy this wonderful view.

Where’s your favorite spot to take pictures? I know Historic Oak View and Historic Yates Mill are popular places!
