We finally got the chance to visit PlayFunParty in Fuquay-Varina and it did not disappoint! I’d consider it to be a lot like Little Doodles, but without a cafe and with even more toys and climbing structures! We reserved a 1.5 hour play time but when time was up my kids were begging to stay longer! Definitely make a visit if you haven’t been yet!

So. Many. Toys!

There are new toys at every turn within PlayFunParty. I feel like my kids only grazed the surface and were still finding new toys as we were walking out the door! In one corner they have a dress up closet, play kitchen, grocery store, and kids workout equipment. The grocery store checkout was a huge hit with all of the kids, and it even came with a pretend credit card to put in the reader!

In the middle of the room you will find lots of ride on toys, a train table and a wooden boat and climbing ladder. There’s also a cute spot for the youngest babies and a cozy reading nook for some quiet play. There were some interactive magnetic letter writing boards that my 4 year old spent quite a bit of time working with. I had never seen anything like them before, but really the whole play space had some of the cutest and unique toys. The owner definitely has some classy taste, and she was super friendly while we were there. She’s a mother herself and was virtual schooling the older kids in the back, so she definitely gets it!

If your child needs to burn energy and go a little wild, there are two playground slides and a climbing dome. My kids favorite was the bouncy ball pit with a swing in the middle, called a jumping jumparoo. They loved to jump on the edge and catch the swing in mid jump!

Seating Area

Near the entrance of the space is a seating area for the parents. Although, there were numerous seating spots throughout the entire space. I found a spot near the sunny window and relaxed while the kids played. It was glorious after 6 months of quarantine to have a change of scenery, new toys, and new kids to play with!

Admission and Policies

Admission is currently $8 per child and adults play free. You must reserve your spot in advance on the website. You can also purchase a 10 visit pass for a discount.

Socks are required for all children and adults in the play space and they ask you remove shoes at the entrance. There are cubbies right at the door for you to store your belongings. They also have you sign a waiver for each child upon entry.

Birthday Parties

The play space can also be rented out for birthday parties! You can find their party package information here. This would be a great option for those winter birthdays! You can find more options on our list of birthday party venues!

If the play space is a little too far away for your guests, PlayFunParty can bring the fun to you with their mobile party rentals! You can choose from their packages or customize exactly what toys you want in the space. They will bring all of the play gear to you and set it up and tear it down. I believe this is the only business in the area that offers something like this!
