Let me tell you about the best resource for couples that I’ve used this quarantine season! Happily Date Box is a subscription “date night in a box” that is shipped straight to your door. It contains creative ideas for a romantic night in that will get you out of your binge-watching TV routine! We plan on enjoying one of these bad boys for new years eve after we’ve tucked the kids in bed on time following their Noon Years Eve Celebration. I know, we’re wild over here! 🤪
My husband and I have tried 3 date boxes so far and they have been so much fun! They usually contain some sort of snack or drink recipe, conversation starters, a game and/or activity, and a music playlist for the night. The box may also follow a location theme, like sushi from Japan or tea and scones from England. Since the box includes so many goodies, it is well worth the price in my opinion!

Each box has taken us well over an hour to complete, so it’s been a treat to look forward to after the kids are in bed for the night! The only issues we have experienced was with the neon sign kit in our third box. The instructions said to to attach the neon light to a piece of metal included in the box to make the word “love”. However, it was way too difficult, so we grabbed some scrap wood from our shed to attach it to instead! You might have better luck with yours though! That project actually took much longer than an hour to complete, but I still proudly display our work at home and the kids love looking at the light that mommy and daddy made!
Supply List
Each date box will have a supply list for any extra items you may need to purchase, but these are usually just food items that they obviously can’t ship in the box, plus tools you probably already have lying around the house. The box itself includes everything else you need for your fun night in!
