As of Friday, June 19th, 2020, at 4pm, face coverings are now REQUIRED within the city of Raleigh when in contact with members outside of your immediate family. This includes inside businesses, on sidewalks, parking lots, and public transit.

Children under the age of 12 are exempt.

Masks are NOT required when walking or exercising outdoors, or at places where it is not feasible to wear one, such as at the pool, eating at restaurants, or the dentist.

You may also receive an exemption due to religious beliefs or if you have health conditions that prevent you from wearing a mask.
